Why Ten Hag needs to leave the club
Like many others I was very excited to have Erik Ten Hag come to Man United. After an
amazing tenure at Ajax I thought he was perfect for Man United. This season he has
proven me wrong. We have absolutely no style of play. One game we are a counter
attacking team. The next we are a possession team. Then the next we are just going into
a free for all. Now Ten Hag can get some good results out for sure. We have been great
against Liverpool all season, but we never build on that. We usually play a counter
attacking style vs Liverpool. Then the next game we switch it up. I never know what I am
going to see when I watch a United game. Its just dreadful.
Now we also need to talk about his feuds with players. He has had falling outs with
almost every player now. Sancho, Ronaldo, Eriksen, Varane, De Gea, and now
Garnacho? Now I used to back him on these sort of things. For example when he fell out
with Ronaldo. I said that Ronaldo wasn’t good enough so it was fair and that was true.
That’s no excuse to treat a club legend and GOAT though. Then was Sancho and I also
backed him for that. Sancho is lazy and not good enough so that was fair. De Gea was
fair to let him go because we need a goalie who can play with his feet. Now Varane I was
not a fan.
Varane did nothing wrong and was being benched for Johnny Evans? Now they
eventually resolved their issues but still. Now Eriksen, Eriksen has asked to leave the
club because of lack of playing time. Eriksen was one of our best players last season. I
know he hasn’t been as good this season but still. He could still be used in cup games
and I don’t remember the last time he played. Now Garnacho just pisses me off. He has
maybe been our best player this season at 19 years old and Ten Hag just throws him
under the bus. Garnacho is my favorite player on United right now and if he leaves I
think a lot of fans will too.
Terrible signings
Casemiro last season was bought for €70 million for Ten Hag. Now this season they
would we lucky to get €30 million out of him. Yes last season he was great but this
season he has fallen off a cliff. Whenever I watch him I think I am watching my grandma
play. He is probably slower than her and can’t make a simple 5 yard pass. They will
probably sell him in the next window and loss around €40 million on him.
Now Antony, he has also not been great but this season probably better than Casemiro.
Why did Ten Hag buy this guy for €95 million? Sure he works very hard on offence and
defense and has a great left foot. €95 million though? If we spent €45 million on him
then he would be a good signing but not €95 million. He has looked like he is getting
better and has even scored 2 goals with his right foot this season. Again a terrible
signing that Ten Hag asked for.
If all of this does not convince you that Ten Hag needs to be sacked then I don’t know
what will. We don’t have a style of play or good players, he needs out.
